AIMA MARIA LABRA-MAKK
Deluje kot koncertnAima Maria Labra Makk - fotoa pianistka, komorna glasbenica in profesorica klavirja. Rojena je bila leta 1965 v mestu Cebu na Filipinih. S tremi leti je pričela s poukom klavirja pri svoji mami, po srednji šoli pa je šolanje nadaljevala na Filipinski univerzi pri prof. Suaco. Leta 1985 je prejela prvo nagrado na državnem tekmovanju mladih umetnikov (NAMCYA). Leto kasneje je bila sprejeta na Univerzo za glasbo in upodabljajočo umetnost v Gradcu, kjer je bil njen mentor Eugen Jakab. Je prejemnica številnih štipendij (Bösendorf, Martha Debelli, Alban Berg). Leta 1989 je prejela prvo nagrado na 1. mednarodnem tekmovanju ˝Franz Schubert und Musik der Moderne˝ v Gradcu. Leta 1990 je z odliko diplomirala, leto kasneje pa prejela nagrado avstrijskega ministrstva za izobraževanje. Koncertirala je v ˝Konzerthaus˝ na Dunaju, ˝Haydnsaal˝ v Eisenstadtu, ˝Mirabell Palace˝v Salzburgu, ˝Stefaniensaal˝ v Gradcu in v Aziji. Prav tako je sodelovala na mednarodnih festivalih kot so ˝Vienna International Festival˝, ˝1st Women’s Festival˝ v Eisenstadtu, ˝Liszt-Beethoven Symphonies for Piano Series˝v Wiesbadnu. Leta 1999 je sodelovala na velikonočnem koncertu Lisztovega društva v Raidingu in od takrat tam redno nastopa. Novembra 2001 je uspešno debitirala v Washingtonu (ZDA), po tem pa je igrala tudi v New Yorku, Chicagu, Los Angelesu, Tennesseeju in v Dallasu. Kot profesorica trenutno deluje na Univerzi za umetnost v Gradcu, kjer poučuje izredno nadarjene otroke. Njeni učenci so zmagovalci številnih državnih in mednarodnih tekmovanj, prav tako pa vodi tudi mojstrske tečaje po celem svetu. Kot komorna glasbenica deluje v ˝Trio Douze˝in v triu ˝Tonstrom˝. Od leta 2001 se redno vrača na rodne Filipine, kjer nastopa in vodi mojstrske tečaje. Zaradi neomajne predanosti napredku klasične glasbe na Filipinih je leta 2006 prejela nagrado mesta Cebu.
Aima Maria Labra-Makk leads a solid career as a solo concert pianist, chamber musician and educator. Born 1965 in Cebu City, the Philippines, Ms. Labra-Makk received her first piano tutorials from her pianist mother at age three. After high school academics, she proceeded to the University of the Philippines where she studied under Perla Suaco and earned a Bachelor of Music degree. In 1985, she won the top prize of the National Music Competion for Young Artists (NAMCYA), piano category C.  In 1986, she was granted acceptance at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz, Austria, where she studied under her mentor Eugen Jakab. She was granted generous scholarships such as the Bosendorf Scholarship, Martha Debelli Stipend, Alban Berg Foundation Scholarship. In 1989, she won a main prize at the First International Competition Franz Schubert and 20th Century Music in Graz.  In 1990, Ms.Labra-Makk was awarded the highest honors in Concert Diplomate from the University of Music. She later received a recognition award from the Ministry of Education of Austria. She performs at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, Haydnsaal in Eisenstadt, Mirabell Palace in Salzburg, Stefaniensaal in Graz and in Asia. She has also performed in international festivals such as the Vienna International Festival, 1st Women´s Festival in Eisenstadt, Liszt-Beethoven Symphonies for Piano Series in Wiesbaden, Germany. In 1999, she was the featured pianist at the Easter Concert of the Liszt Society in Raiding, Austria. Since then, she performs regularly at the Liszt Center in Raiding. In November, 2001, she successfully made her U.S. debut in Washington, D.C. She has since played in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Tennessee, and Dallas. As an educator, Ms. Labra-Makk currently holds a teaching position at the University of Music in Graz, Austria.  Here, she trains extremely musically gifted children from different parts of the world selected through rigorous auditions.  All of her students have won national and international competitions. She also conducts Master Classes in different music institutions all over the world. In 2005, Labra-Makk joined hungarian violinist Ernö Sebestyén and the cellist Tamás Mérei to form the Esterházy trio. She is also the pianist of “Trio Douze” and trio ˝Tonstrom˝. Since 2001, she has been coming home regularly to the Philippines to perform and to hold masterclasses in different music colleges and institutions.  Because of her unwavering dedication to the advancement of classical music in the Philippines, she was awarded 2006 by Governor Gwendolyn Garcia of Cebu the “Garbo sa Sugbu” (Pride of Cebu).

Svojo glasbeno pot je začela na Glasbeni šoli v Kopru pri prof. Liliji Kranjec. Kot zelo perspektivna dijakinja je za svoje uspehe prejela državno štipendijo. Študij klavirja je nadaljevala na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani v razredu red. prof. Dubravke Tomšič – Srebotnjak, kjer je tudi z odliko diplomirala. Zelo uspešno je nastopala, tako solistično kot v komornih zasedbah, v Sloveniji in tujini (Italija, Avstrija, Bosna in Hercegovina, Makedonija, Estonija). Med najpomembnejše nastope v Sloveniji sodijo solistični recital v mali dvorani Slovenske filharmonije, koncert v klavirskem duu v veliki dvorani Slovenske filharmonije ter v isti dvorani solistični nastop z orkestrom RTV Slovenija. Leta 1992 je prejela drugo nagrado na državnem tekmovanju v Celju ter prvo nagrado na mednarodnem tekmovanju na Reki (Hrvaška). Istega leta ji je Akademija za glasbo podelila Prešernovo nagrado. V študentskih letih se je ukvarjala tudi s kompozicijo ter za svoje klavirske skladbe dvakrat prejela nagrado na hrvaškem mednarodnem natečaju. Solistično je snemala za Radio Koper, RTV Ljubljana in RTV Sarajevo. Izpopolnjevala se je pri vrhunskih klavirskih pedagogih v Sloveniji in tujini. Od leta 1995 poučuje klavir na Glasbeni šoli Koper ter od leta 1999 tudi na Umetniški gimnaziji v Kopru. Njeni učenci in dijaki so do sedaj prejeli prek sto priznanj in nagrad na regijskih, državnih in mednarodnih tekmovanjih. Med njimi je veliko prvonagrajencev ter absolutnih zmagovalcev, ki so na tekmovanjih večkrat dosegli vse možne točke. Poučuje na klavirskih seminarjih in poletnih šolah ter sodeluje kot članica ocenjevalne komisije na tekmovanjih. Za izjemne uspehe na področju glasbene vzgoje in izobraževanja ter glasbenega poustvarjanja je leta 2013 prejela državno priznanje Frana Gerbiča.
Selma Chicco Hajdin – academic musician, piano teacher Her musical beginning started at Music school in Koper, by prof. Lilija Kranjec. As very gifted pupil, she was the winner of state scholarship. She continued her studies at Music Academy in Ljubljana in class of prof. Dubravka Tomšič Srebotnjak and graduated with best grades. She successfully appeared, as a soloist, as well as member of chamber groups, in Slovenia and abroad (Italy, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Estonia). Among important appearances is solo and duo recital in Slovenian Philharmonic Hall and concert with Symphonic RTV orchestra. At state competition in Celje (1992) she got second prize and first prize at international competition in Rijeka (Croatia). Same year she was awarded with ˝Prešeren prize˝ from Academy of music Ljubljana. While study she was occupied with composing and she was awarded twice for her compositions at international competition in Croatia. As a piano soloist, she recorded music for Radio Koper, RTV Ljubljana and RTV Sarajevo.  Selma Chicco Hajdin improved herself with many famous pianists in Slovenia and abroad (summer schools, seminars, lectures). From 1995 she teaches piano at Music school in Koper and from 1999 at Artistic grammar school in Koper. Her pupils were awarded with more than hundred prizes at different competitions, home and abroad. A lot of them won all possible points. She teaches at different piano seminars and summer schools, and she is often a member of committee on competitions. For special merits in musical education and artistic work, she was awarded with state reward ˝Fran Gerbič˝ in year 2013.

 

Profesor LÁSZLÓ BARANYAY je pričel svojo glasbeno pot pri devetih letih. Diplomiral je na Akademiji Franza Liszta v Budimpešti leta 1969 pri prof. Imre Ungarju. Študij je nadaljeval na Centralnem konzervatoriju Čajkovskega v Moskvi pri znamenitem pianistu in pedagogu prof. Stanislavu Neuhausu in ga končal v letu 1972. Svojo glasbeno znanje je kasneje dograBaranyay-fotojeval še na mostrskih tečajih v Švici pri pianistu Gézi Anda. Kot solist in komorni glasbenik koncertira po Evropi, Aziji in Ameriki. Njegov obsežen repertoar solistične in komorne klavirske literature obsega med drugim tudi 50 klavirskih koncertov od Bacha do moderne glasbe. Posebej se posveča moderni madžarski glasbi, številna dela so bila napisana ali posvečena prav njemu. Za svojo koncertno dejavnost je leta 1992 dobil najvišje madžarsko državno odlikovanje Franza Liszta. Je nagrajenec mnogih mednarodnih pianističnih tekmovanj kot so Enescu – Bukarešta (1967), Schumann – Zwickau (1969), Liszt-Bartók – Budimpešta (1971). Od leta 1973 poučuje na Akademiji Ferenz Liszt v Budimpešti. Svojo pedagoško dejavnost je razširil tudi na t. i. »pripravljalne« razrede Akademije, kjer poučuje posebej talentirane otroke. Že leta vodi mojstrske tečaje na Madžarskem, Poljskem, Finskem, v Franciji, Nemčiji, na Japonskem in v Sloveniji. Pripravlja učbenik o svoji metodi poučevanja. Je reden član ocenjevalnih žirij velikih mednarodnih tekmovanj. Mnogi njegovi učenci pa so dobitniki nagrad na pomembnih tekmovanjih in gostje koncertnih odrov po svetu.
Professor LÁSZLÓ BARANYAY began his music studies in his native Hungary at the age of nine, and obtained his undergraduate diploma in 1969, having studied piano with Imre Ungár. Upon graduating, he pursued post-graduate work at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the great pianist and teacher Stanislav Neuhaus, completing his studies there in 1972. His education was then supplemented through Master Classes in Switzerland with pianist Géza Anda. Since completing his studies, Mr. Baranyay has performed in numerous concert halls, as well as on radio and TV in Hungary, and has frequently given guest performances in most European countries, as well as overseas – in India, Japan, United States and Cuba. He has won numerous international piano competitions, and possesses a broad repertoire – beside solo works, his repertoire also includes fifty concertos by Bach all the way to 20th century pieces. He pays particular attention to contemporary Hungarian music, a number of works have been written for and dedicated to him. Mr. Baranyay currently teaches piano at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, and frequently gives Master Classes on a regular basis in Hungary and abroad (Italy, Dreece, Poland, Slovenia, France, Japan etc.). Many students of his have achieved remarkable accomplishments at international competitions and in concert halls. In 1992, in recognition of his musical accomplishments, the Hungarian government awarded him the Liszt Prize, the most prestigious appreciation issued by the Hungarian State.

Tatjana Ognjanovic - fotoPianistka TATJANA OGNJANOVIČ se je rodila v Ljubljani. Klavir se je začela učiti s štirimi leti pri Darinki Bernetič. Študij je nadaljevala pri Dubravki Tomšič-Srebotnjak na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani, kjer je opravila tudi umetniško specializacijo. V letih 1986 do 1993  je živela na Dunaju in se izpopolnjevala pri Hansu Petermandlu na Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst, od 1991 do 1993 pa še pri ruskem pianistu in pedagogu Viktorju Meržanovu.

Tatjana Ognjanovič je nagrajenka klavirskih tekmovanj v Zagrebu, na Dunaju, v Portu, Atenah, Valenciji in Jaenu, trikrat je dobila tudi posebno nagrado za najboljšo interpretacijo Beethovnove sonate. 
Bila je že gostja številnih mednarodnih festivalov kot so Ljubljana, Zagreb, Osoje, Praga, Kuala Lumpur, koncertna pot pa jo je do sedaj vodila skozi petnajst evropskih držav od  Portugalske do Rusije ter do Malezije in Singapura. Nastopala je v dvoranah kot so Gallusova dvorana Cankarjevega doma in velika dvorana Slovenske filharmonije v Ljubljani, Musikverein na Dunaju in Beethovenhaus v Bonnu. 
Poleg številnih samostojnih recitalov je z različnimi domačimi in tujimi orkestri in dirigenti izvajala klavirske koncerte Mozarta, Beethovna, Mendelssohna, Schumanna, Rahmaninova, Skrjabina in Prokofjeva. 
Njena CD plošča izdana pri Založbi kaset in plošč RTV Slovenija pa vsebuje zadnje tri Bethovenove klavirske sonate – Op.109, 110, 111.
Intenzivno se posveča tudi komorni glasbi in sicer kot članica klavirskega tria Amael, skupaj z Volodjo Balžalorskym in Damirom Hamidulinom, ter nastopa in snema v duu s pianistom Bojanom Goriškom.
Njen repertoar sega od baroka do najsodobnejše glasbe, vse do krstnih izvedb slovenskih skladateljev. 
Tatjana Ognjanovič svojo koncertantno dejavnost že od leta 1993 dopolnjuje s poučevanjem klavirja na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani, kjer je od leta 2005  redna profesorica.
Tatjana Ognjanovic, one of Slovenia’s leading pianists, has performed at International Music Festivals and given highly acclaimed recitals in 16 countries throughout Europe, as well as in Malaysia and Singapore. She has appeared as soloist with many orchestras, interpreting piano concertos by Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, and Prokofiev.She has made many CD, LP, radio and TV recordings, embracing a wide repertory of music from the baroque era to the contemporary. Her growing interest in chamber music has resulted in her collaboration with pianist Bojan Gorisek, and more recently, the increasingly acknowledged Trio Amael. Tatjana Ognjanovic is a prize winner of national, as well as numerous international piano competitions such as the Cidade do Porto in Portugal (1991), Maria Callas in Athens, Greece (1992), Jose Iturbi in Valencia, Spain (1992), and Premio Jaen, also in Spain (1993). The daughter of two professional opera singers, she began her music education at the age of four, studying for 14 years with Darinka Bernetic. She continued at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana with Dubravka Tomsic, and furthered her studies with Hans Petermandl at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna, and with Viktor Merzanov from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. In addition to her artistic performances, she has been teaching at the Academy of Music of the Ljubljana University since 1993.

Ruski pianist OLEG MARŠEV se je rodil v Bakuju (Azerbajdžan). Bil je učenec prof. Valentine Aristove na Gnesinovi šoli za izrazito nadarjene otroke (Moskva), kasneje pa obiskoval razred prof. Mihaila Voskresenskija na moskovskem konservatoriju, kjer je končal podiplomski študij z odliko v letu 1988. Prejel je nagrade na številnih mednarodnih klavirskih tekmovanjih – v Kanadi, Italiji, na Portugalskem, v Španiji ter ZDA – kjer je osvojil štiri prve nagrade. Omenjene sijajne zmage so potrdile njegov sloves enega najbolj nadarjenih ruskih pianistov svoje Oleg_1generacije. Leta 1991 je z recitalom prvič nastopil v New Yorku v Alice Tully Hall Lincolnovega centra in zanj prejel same pohvale. Kasneje je nastopal po vsem svetu, od Kanade do Nove Zelandije, se pojavljal na pomembnih festivalih kot so A. B. Michelangeli (Brescia-Bergamo), Ruhr Klavier Festival (Nemčija), festival na Roque d’Antheron v Franciji. V prihodnje bo nastopil tudi z Londonsko filharmonijo in na recitalu v Wigmore Hall (London). Poleg koncertne dejavnosti Oleg Maršev deluje na kot mentor na mojstrskih tečajih v različnih državah in kot profesor na Univerzi Antona Brucknerja v Linzu, pri čemer ima zelo dejavno vlogo v življenju univerze tako v vlogi predavatelja kot mentorja posameznih študentov. Njegov prvi »snemalni« projekt je bila izdaja kompletnih solističnih del za klavir Sergeja Prokofjeva (5 CD) pri Danacord Records. Od takrat je posnel več kot 35 zgoščenk za isto založbo, z deli Schuberta, Brahmsa, Straussa, Rubinsteina, Rahmaninova in drugih. Oleg Maršev je verjetno prvi pianist, ki je kadarkoli posnel celoten opus del za klavir in orkester velike ruske četverice – Čajkovskega, Rahmaninova, Prokofjeva in Šostakoviča.

Born in Baku (Azerbaijan), OLEG MARSHEV trained with Valentina Aristova at the Gnesin School for Highly Gifted Children and with Mikhail Voskresensky at the Moscow Conservatory where he completed his Performance Doctorate in 1988 gaining the Diploma with Honor. He has received awards in several international piano competitions in Canada, Italy, Portugal, Spain, USA, including 4 first prizes. The illustrious competition victories have confirmed the artist’s reputation as one of the most talented Russian pianists of his generation. 1991 saw his New York debut with a highly acclaimed recital at the Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall. Later he has performed throughout the world from Canada to New Zealand, appearing at such important festivals as A.B. Michelangeli of Brescia-Bergamo, Italy, Ruhr Klavier Festival, Germany, Festival at Roque d’Antheron in France. The future engagements include a concert with the London Philharmonic and a recital at Wigmore Hall. Alongside his concert engagements, Oleg gives masterclasses in many different countries and is a Professor at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, taking a very active role in the life of the university both lecturing and teaching individual pupils. Oleg Marshev’s first recording project was the complete original works for solo piano by Prokofiev (5 CDs) for Danacord Records. He has since recorded over 35 CDs for the same label, featuring works by Schubert, Brahms, Strauss, Rubinstein, Rachmaninov and others. Oleg Marshev is probably the first pianist ever to have recorded the complete works for piano and orchestra by the great Russian Four – Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev and Shostakovich.

NIKOLAJ ŽLIČAR Nikolaj Žličar je rojen v Ormožu, svojo mladost pa je preživel v Dubrovniku, kjer je pridobil tudi svojo prvo glasbeno izobrazbo. Na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani je študiral klavir (prof. Dubravka Tomšič) in dirigiranje (prof. Danilo Švara) ter opravil tudi magisterij iz dirigiranja (prof. Anton Nanut). Kot študent je vodil pevski zbor Vinko Vodopivec.   Med leti 1971 in 1978 je bil korepetitor in dirigent v opernem gledališču v Splitu, kjer je od leta 1976 do leta 1977 opravljal tudi dolžnosti direktorja. V sezoni 1977 – 1978 je bil dirigeNikolaj Zlicar - fotont v Državni operi in baletu v Ankari (Turčija), leta 1978 pa je prevzel mesto šefa dirigenta opere v Beogradu. Kot operni in simfonični dirigent je deloval  v različnih glasbenih centrih nekdanje Jugoslavije, v Nemčiji, Avstriji, Italiji, Rusiji, Bolgariji, Turčiji, Avstriji, na Češkem in v Južni Koreji. Sodeloval je z mnogimi uglednimi orkestri kot so simfonični orkester Slovenske filharmonije, Orkester slovenske policije, Simfoniki RTV Slovenija, Simfoniki RTV Zagreb, Bruckner orkester iz Linza, Orkester leningrajske filharmonije, Orkester dunajske radiotelevizije…      Je tudi umetniški vodja mednarodnega opernega festivala Tino Patiera v Dubrovniku. Kot umetniški sodelavec (klavirska spremljava) aktivno nastopa z mnogimi opernimi solisti. Posnel je šest zgoščenk. Živi v Velenju, kjer na Glasbeni šoli Fran Korun Koželjski poučuje klavir, na glasbeni univerzi Anton Bruckner v Linzu (Avstrija)pa poučuje dirigiranje. Za svoje delo je prejel številne nagrade, med drugim Študentsko Prešernovo nagrado (1971), nagrado za najboljšega dirigenta opernega festivala v Osijeku (1975), tri nagrade za najboljšo operno interpretacijo v  Beogradu (1985, 1987 in 1988).
Nikolaj Žličar was born in Ormož (Slovenia), and began to study music in Dubrovnik (Croatia). He graduated in piano and conducting from the Ljubljana Music Academy, where he also got his MA degree in conducting. As a student he was a leader of Vinko Vodopivec men choir. He was engaged as conductor in Split Opera, in Ankara State opera (Turkey) and in Belgrade National opera house. He extensively conducted both operas and symphony concerts in many music centres of former Yugoslavia, as well as in Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Austria and South Korea. He collaborated with numerous prestigious orchestras such as the Slovene Philharmonic Orchestra, the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, the Bruckner Orchestra from Linz, the Leningrad Philharmonic, the Vienna Radio and Television Orchestra, etc. He is also a permanent conductor and artistic director of the Dubrovnik International Opera Festival Tino Patiera. Nikolaj Žličar is a conductor with a huge repertoire. He has released six CDs and conducted operas with the world famous soloists taking part. He holds numerous awards and acknowledgements. As a pianist he performs with numerous of opera soloists. He is accompanist and piano teacher at the Velenje Music School and professor of conducting at the Bruckner University in Linz (Austria).
